Home Repair Walnut Creek Home Repair Ministry began in 2001 as a service to members of our congregation and also as an outreach to those outside our church. Jobs range from as small as changing light bulbs to as large as roofing houses. Currently only two projects are scheduled for this year. One is reroofing a member’s house and the other is participation in the Day of Caring of August 20th. If you or someone you know could use the services of the Home Repair Ministry, please contact Don Laughlin, Marcia Randolph, or the church office. Also, if you would like to volunteer to be a helper, you need not be a master carpenter. Willing workers are always appreciative regardless of skill level. The Home Repair Ministry recently tore off and replaced a porch on a house in the county. They were assisted by a group of students from Grace College. Walnut Creek also worked in conjunction with Pleasant Grove UMC on a playground equipment project. Click on the Thumbnail to view pictures of the work.
