Sunday School
(9:30 am)
Featured Sunday School Class of the Month:
“The Good Neighbors Class”
Taught by Janis Wilson and assisted by Mary Trease. Their curriculum is a New Testament Based Bible Lesson with a lecture and class discussion format. This is a senior adult class, however, they welcome everyone! They describe themselves as a small, but caring group. They like to share their joys and concerns with one another and are a source of encouragement for each other. They make a point to keep in touch with Honorary Members of their class; individuals who no longer are able to attend.
God’s Blessings on the Good Neighbors. Lift them in your prayers this month!

Explorer's Class
The Explorer’s Class will be starting a new lesson on “Christianity and World Religions, Wrestling With Questions People Ask.” The Author is Adam Hamilton. What its about: A small-group study that explores four major world religions-Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam, and Judaism-and compares the beliefs of each with those of Christianity. This six-week study deal openly and honestly with questions people ask about other religions, including why we should believe the claims of Christianity over those of other faiths. As part of the study, Hamilton interviews a religious leader from each tradition. He treats the would religions with great respect, recognizing the unique contributions of each. He closes by distilling the essential beliefs of Christianity, in light of the other religious beliefs that have been presented.
